The NQF in practice

By the example of qualifications of the business-oriented and administrative sector

This final report aims to summarise the results of a project which was conducted on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture (BMUKK) (project duration: May to December 2010). Within the framework of this project, the status quo (as of September 2010) of the publication of criteria was discussed in terms of content, use and user-friendliness with experts from the spheres of education and business. Discussions referred to qualifications from the business-oriented and administrative sector (that is: commerce and office). The project also covered the piloting of the definition of learning outcomes based on the subject-specific parts of the final examinations at colleges of business administration and business schools, in order to gain experience with the access to and the presentation of learning outcomes.
