VET and Europe

ibw plays a substantial role in European projects related to research on education and training at different levels. The Institute regularly acts as a coordinator or partner in projects carried out within the lifelong learning programme.

ibw's evaluation studies on European education and training programmes provide important impulses for their further development. In addition, ibw experts are involved in working groups of the European Commission in the designing of European education policies.

ibw is a cooperation partner of Cedefop, the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training. The descriptions and analyses drawn up by ibw represent Austria to the world and serve for transnational comparisons.
